The cult motorcycle brand Harley Davidson recently announced its new project. The new business, called Serial 1 Cycle Company is dedicated to bring its first line of production for electric bicycles. The name is a reference to “Serial Number One,” the nickname for Harley-Davidson’s oldest known motorcycle built in 1903. Special design e-bike, reflecting the traditional Harley-Davidson style with classic brown leather on the seat as shown in its prototype, is expected to be released in early 2021 and will be available at certain Harley-Davidson dealerships.
The pandemic crisis and responsibility developed towards emerging environmental issues increased the interest in bicycles and electric vehicles. Both alternatives are now among the healthiest, most environmental friendly, stylish and joyful options of urban life style. Harley Davidson is the brand that recently entered the electric bicycles and motorcycles market, after the automotive brands such as BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz, who have given a reaction to this global trend a while ago.
Although the e-bike’s exact specs haven’t been released yet, images of the published prototype provides some information about the vehicle. With a laidback cruiser frame, a glossy black paint, classic brown leather on the seat and handlebar grips and with retro white tires the bike will serve as a comfortable and stylish new urban toy. Serial 1 is targeted to be released in early 2021 at certain Harley-Davidson dealerships.
