Earning his place among the legendary pilots by receiving Formula OneTM World Champion title for six times, Lewis Hamilton collaborated with IWC to create a new legend. IWC “Lewis Hamilton” Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition combines the daring and expressive style of Hamilton with the unwavering accuracy of the 52615 caliber watch. The special design, limited to 100 watches, combines a black ceramic case and a Bordeaux-red dial with a crown and a case-back ring made of 18-carat 5N gold. An exciting timepiece for collectors, the watch radiates understated luxury with its Bordeaux-red textile strap.
Created by Lewis Hamilton and IWC designers working side by side in Schaffhausen, the watch stands out with its technical features as well as outstanding details in its design. Its Pellaton winding system, fitted with components made from zirconium oxide ceramic, builds up a power reserve of seven days in two barrels. The perpetual calendar displays the date, day, month and year to four figures and recognises the lengths of different months autonomously, and is complemented with a double moon phase display. Deviating from the Moon’s actual orbit by a single day after 577.5 years, IWC “Lewis Hamilton” Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition (ref. IW503002) takes a strong stance with its 46.5 mm diameter and 15.9 mm height.
